Portland Campus—Small Community Feel, Big City Energy

Located in Northeast Portland’s historic Concordia neighborhood at the site of the former Concordia University, the UO Portland’s residential campus spans 19 acres of art, green space, and purpose-built facilities. The 20 buildings on campus include a newly renovated library, coffee shop, innovation building, and event spaces, all with convenient access to downtown and the Portland International Airport.

Academic Programs

University of Oregon Portland is home to 12 academic programs for graduates and upper-level undergraduates spanning design, education, business, journalism, and law. Students benefit from small classes taught by instructors who are leaders in their fields.

At UO Portland, you’ll find undergraduates completing their final years in Architecture, Product Design, and Child Behavioral Health, along with graduate students in programs ranging from the Oregon Executive MBA to Sports Product Design, Sports Product Management, School Psychology, and Communications.

Research Centers

At seven research centers housed on the UO Portland campus, faculty and students collaborate with local partners to turn bold ideas into meaningful action. From improving youth mental health to promoting sustainability, researchers develop creative solutions to today’s challenges through work in Portland’s urban laboratory.

Student Life and Housing

With events, student organizations, and spaces for wellness and recreation, there is a strong sense of community on the UO Portland campus. Career advancement services and the Office of Student Life and Belonging support UO Portland students inside and outside the classroom. University Housing offers several apartment options with easy access to the UO Portland campus.
