Student Life Overview
The University of Oregon Portland campus connects Oregon’s flagship university to its largest city. UO Portland brings students, faculty, and researchers closer to the state’s economic and cultural center, offering an intimate campus experience in a dynamic urban setting.
Located in Northeast Portland’s historic Concordia neighborhood at the site of the former Concordia University, the UO Portland’s residential campus spans 19 acres of art, green space, and purpose-built facilities. The 20 buildings on campus include a newly renovated library, coffee shop, innovation building, and event spaces, all with convenient access to downtown and the Portland International Airport.
University of Oregon Portland is home to 12 academic programs for graduates and upper-level undergraduates spanning design, education, business, journalism, and law. Students benefit from small classes taught by instructors who are leaders in their fields.
At UO Portland, you’ll find undergraduates completing their final years in Architecture, Product Design, and Child Behavioral Health, along with graduate students in programs ranging from the Oregon Executive MBA to Sports Product Design, Sports Product Management, School Psychology, and Communications.
At seven research centers housed on the UO Portland campus, faculty and students collaborate with local partners to turn bold ideas into meaningful action. From improving youth mental health to promoting sustainability, researchers develop creative solutions to today’s challenges through work in Portland’s urban laboratory.

The Portland Internship Experience connects UO undergraduates with employers in the Portland metro area for a paid summer internship, offering Eugene students professional experience and valuable connections in the Portland community.
