UO offers two distinct honors pathways: Clark Honors College's small, discussion-based experience and departmental Honors Programs in your area of study. Whatever your goals, there's a place for you here.

Clark Honors College: An Elevated Liberal Arts Education

Join a close-knit community of students pursuing a wide range of studies, with access to the resources of a major research university. Faculty lead small, topic-driven classes and mentor you on your final thesis.

Big Ideas. Three Minutes. Powerful Impact.

As a Clark Honors College senior, you’ll work with a faculty mentor to develop an original thesis project, which may also double as a departmental Honors Program project. In the “Three Minute Thesis Competition,” finalists can opt to share their research with the wider UO community.
