Best advice for high school students looking to attend college: Reaching out for help and mentorship can really make the whole college search process feel a lot more manageable! Counselors, teachers, and older students often have helpful insights that can save you a ton of time and stress! Connecting with people early on shows your initiative and helps build supportive and lasting relationships throughout your college search and overall college journey! Asking for guidance is only a strength.

My favorite UO “fun fact”: UO sits inside an arboretum with over 3000 trees and more than 500 species, making it an incredibly beautiful campus.

Favorite Eugene hangout: The EMU is a great space with a ton of things going on! It may always seem busy but you can always find a quite space to relax and decompress!

Special skills, talents, interests, or hobbies: I really enjoy music, of any genre and any language. I spend a lot of my free time sifting through the web to find new artists pushing the boundaries of their genres! I always have recommendations and playlists on hand in case someone needs a fresh artist to listen to! Some other hobbies/interests of mine are reading, writing, analog photography and sport.

If you didn’t work in UO Admissions: If I didn’t work in UO Admissions I would be working a history teacher.
