Favorite thing to do in Eugene: Exploring the UO campus. It’s a beautiful place, both architecturally and naturally. There are so many hidden spots that are perfect for studying or relaxing.

Tips for college success: Don’t be afraid to ask for help. This is a time of huge change in your life, and change is rarely easy. People work in education because they care deeply about the students. Just know when to reach out and that we’re here for you.

The best part of my job: I absolutely love meeting students and learning about their goals and interests.

Favorite UO “fun fact”: The UO is an hour from the beach and an hour from the mountains. How perfect!

Quote I live by: “If you sit and wait to feel like you are the most confident person in the room, you are probably going to be left by yourself.”—Jacinda Ardern

Favorite Duck: Literally any duck I see out in the wild. Ducks are adorable!

Special skills, talents, interests, or hobbies you’d like to share: Someday I want to be on Jeopardy, so I am always looking for things to learn about.

If you didn’t work in UO Admissions: I would love to get advanced degrees in history and go into teaching or research.

Final words: The best way to learn about a college is to visit! I understand that it’s not always possible, so please call or email me with any questions. I’m here to be a resource for you.
